Mothers' Union

There has been a branch of the Mothers' Union at Holy Trinity since 1906. Four of the members have recently served between 40 and 50 years plus and received recognition with a congratulation certificate.

Along with many others in the diocese of Wakefield they have been very active in this worldwide Christian organisation which is especially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life. Their open meetings are held in the welcome area at 2pm on the third Monday in the month, when a short service is held together with MU notices and a guest speaker who often enlightens and interests all who attend.

There are many projects, both in this country and overseas, in which the Mothers' Union is the leading force and has representatives in government on these issues. Membership is open to anyone, men, women, single or married and here at branch level they would like to invite you to meet and share with them in this global fellowship
